During the summer of 2010 our family had a planned trip to eastern Oregon where, unfortunately, we were unable to bring our 100 pound Malamute mix. Even worse, the trip coincided with a heat wave where temperatures topped 100 degrees! We also have a 14 year old cat, four hens, and seven garden beds full of vegetables, herbs, and flowers. We were so relieved to have Beth stay at our home; it was a true sense of relief that allowed us to enjoy our trip with little worry. Not only did Beth manage to keep our garden watered and our pets fed and comforted, but she took such special care of them that they warm up to her right away. Beth took great care of our pets, home and in our experience went above and beyond to care for our property. We highly recommend Beth as a dependable and competent house/pet sitter.
Thanks to Beth, we've been able to travel more extensively & with less stress than ever before! It used to be everytime we wanted to get away we had to figure out which neighbor was available and willing to check in on the house and feed and medicate our 15 year old cat, KiMo, and then cajole them to do so! But for the last 2+ years, Beth has stayed at our house when we've gone on extended (2+ week) trips, giving KiMo a warm body to share the pillow with at night, keeping him on his meds, and even cooking up raw cat food for him regularly! When we get back (to a house cleaner than we left it!) it's almost depressing that KiMo so obviously didn't miss us while we were gone! Beth adores animals and they reciprocate the feeling! I've recommended Beth to many of my friends and neighbors for pet and house sitting and will continue to do so.
It is hard to put into words the peace of mind we had knowing Beth was home taking care of our beloved Scarlett while we were away. We all got a vacation and we came home to one happy pet!
Beth clearly has an amazing touch with animals. Our Pomeranian, Bella, is not the easiest creature to get along with so, we were fairly nervous about leaving her in the hands of anyone at all. We returned from a 16-day trip to find her fur lustrous, her manners greatly improved, and her spirits high from running, playing, and snuggling to her heart's content! I actually think our baby dog was the one who got the real vacation! The same thing happened on Bella's most recent weekend "vacation". We are so relieved to have found someone who keeps Bella happy and secure in our absence. Thank you, Beth!
Beth is the best! Aside from the everyday attention and love she shows my kitties and chickens, she also takes great care of my home. She even cleaned up a huge mess after a flood once! I wouldn't have trusted anyone else to care for my ailing old guy when he was nearing the end of the line. She also handled an extreme pet emergency when we were out of reach. I always know that my pets will be in the best hands when Beth is available.
